Italian mid-century travertine marble coffee table and metal base, 1970

Gorgeous mid-century coffee or sofa table made in italy in the 1970s. The table has a handmade wrought iron base that was sanded and painted with corten lacquer (giving the iron a "rusty" effect) and a beautiful old travertine marble top. The italian old travertine marble slab was ground down by a stonemason and has countless small open spots/holes on the slab, beautiful to look at and much better in reality than in the photos. A truly stunning piece that suits many interiors and styles.
