The royal system modular system was designed in 1948 by danish designer poul cadovious. It was one of the first hanging furniture systems in the world, and the idea that furniture should not use floor space was innovative. This system was produced by the company france & son which later became cado. The royal system has also been produced under license in more than 30 countries and is considered one of the greatest successes in the history of danish furniture. It consists of wooden rails fixed to the wall, shelves with brass or stainless steel hooks and various modules such as cabinets, drawers, desks, showcases... Which can be customized in several individual combinations. Poul cadovius claimed that the original system had 16 million combination possibilities. These shelves are still today a reference in the world of design for their innovative approach. Rail: h: 200cm l: 3.4cm d: 1.9cm. Small shelf: h: 1.9cm w: 80cm d: 24cm.
