Mid-century Sculptural Italian Travertine Coffee Table, Minimalist Design, 1980s

Sculptural asymmetrical travertine coffee table, manufactured in italy in the '80s. The table features two polished round travertine plates and a cross-shaped base. The length of the table can be adjusted by rotating the plates (115 to 155 cm) - as seen in the photos and the video. The diameter of the larger plate is 90 cm and the diameter of the smaller plate is 60 cm. The color of the travertine is ivory, with a subtle warm hue. The total weight of the table is almost 90 kg, but it can be easily disassembled into 3 parts. The condition of the table is very good vintage with small and beautiful age patina.
