Farmhouse console in vintage wood circa 1940

Small vintage farm console of good size circa 40's/50's.this very beautiful piece of contemporary rustic style is simply elegant, classic and modern at the same time. It is made of wood with a walnut color finish and comes straight from the périgord where it was used as a small side table in a farm. It is in its original state, it has been completely cleaned, treated and glossed with linseed oil to preserve to its maximum its integrity and patina of time. It is solid and stable. There are of course traces and marks of use and use on the tray the apron and the feet, but rather than sanding and redoing it I preferred to keep its cachet that makes its charm. Personally I see it very well in wall console against a large wall, in an entrance, a living room or bathroom, it could also be used in a smaller place or in a kitchenette as a side table or as a dining table or as a small office for a home office.
