Italian Brutalist head of bed by Luciano Frigerio bronze brass 1970

Large headboard by italian artist and designer luciano frigerio. The brass frame is solid and elegant, providing a perfect setting for the nine brutalist bronze sculptures. This is the "bagdad" model, which is part of the series of "letti scultura" designed by luciano frigerio for frigerio di desio in italy in the early 1970s. This piece has been fully restored and repolie, and is in very good vintage condition. Designed for a king-size bed, fixing the headboard to the box spring requires only four large screws. A similar headboard by lucio frigerio is featured in the january/february 2021 issue of ad magazine.
