Baumann baby chairs. Although it no longer bears a label, it is easily identifiable among the various palmette models known as "jugendstil" which thonet pioneered in 1898 by using for the line no. 221 a veneer cut in the shape of a palmette (art nouveau motif) in the ornament of the file. After kohn (from 1901) and fischel (1910), baumann created two variants in 1914; no.67 rather inspired by fischel and no. 68, very close to the original thonet. Same shape of 7-leaf palmette soberly cut into a fan. Some differences, however, sign the baumman model and its evolution over the course of its production; the abandonment from 1926 of the capitals turned at the top of the front feet (still visible in the 1923 catalogue). The last catalogue appearance was in 1928. This copy is dated 1926-1928. But beware of the need for restoration. Lacks a bar, a palmette and cracks on turned wood run at baumann. The lower part (the board was changed) all and visible in the photos.
