Atollo table/floor lamp in white glass by Vico Magistretti for Oluce, Italy 1960s model

Italian adjustable white glass atollo lamp designed by vico magistretti for oluce. Produced during the 60’s and in very good original condition. Stunning and old model from 1969 by oluce, entirely crystal made. Uniqueness due to its adjustable lampshade, and to its double lighting, both internal and external to the structure. The lampshade rotates on a brass junction, just in the middle of the circular structure. Different geometric figures sum up in an authentic masterwork. The atollo lamp has become an iconic representation of the table lamp. The simple cylinder, cone, and hemisphere combine in such a simple but strong way highlighting form follows function. The shade is a hemispherical shape and the base is cylindrical with a conical taper near the light source. The atollo lamp is a perfect table or floor lamp.
