Ochres

Oil on canvas made by the artist Jean-Claude TRON in Saint Paul de Vence. Provence was a major inspiration to the artist, but other parts of the world have made him so much. For the record, more than 20 years ago when I chose this painting, it was still on his vevalet. Wanting to make the first page of his booklet, I had to wait 2 days for the photographer to pass and the canvas dries enough for the journey home.
