On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the louvre pyramid, jr creates a collaborative work on the scale of the napoleonic court. Three years after making the pyramid disappear, he reveals it in a new light by making a gigantic collage, thanks to the help of 400 volunteers! Every day, hundreds of volunteers came to help cut and glue the 2000 strips of paper, making the artist's largest collage to date. Images, like life, are ephemeral. The work, once glued, lives by itself. The sun dries the light glue, and each step takes off a piece of paper, fragile. The approach focuses on the participation of volunteers, visitors, and souvenir hunters. This project also speaks of presence and absence, of reality and memory, of transient.
