Iron clay Salad Bowl

Rare and old bowl of unusual square shape with Interior and exterior vegetal frieze underlined by coloured flowers. Central décor. Rare by its shape and by the hand painted color touches visibly. Ivory color with small cracks of the varnished and stains more supported in places. Very nice general condition for this antique from the House Émile bourgeois whose seat was at 21 rue Drouot in Paris with branch in Marseille. The founder of this brand was supplied with large earthenware in France and also imported pieces from England (notably wegwood) to adapt to the taste of his wealthy clientele and ordered pieces that he created to satisfy their Desires. Stamped. Note a slight partile below and some splinters on the base (details on photos) Room really rare if you like very old dishes.
