The peak of his career was in the years 30 and 40 of the twentieth century. That's when he worked for a reputable company called UP Manufacturing, Brno. There, he created his most popular models of furniture, including the famous chair H-269, H-214 chair and table H-259, which have become classics of Czech modernism.
