Toothill 'Wentworth' sofa

This is the extremely rare earlier edition of the Toothill 'Wentworth', a beautiful sofa, which has been replaced by a pirelli webbing. Constructed from solid afromosia and walnut with copper piping, a walnut veneered backrest and beautiful copper legs. A great feature of the design is two built in solid walnut sidetables, supported by copper fixtures at the side of the seat cushion which slide in and out to transform into a sofa bed. Condition - the sliding mechanism can not be used freely, but probably loosen again over time. One table top also has a small scratch with a slight dent which has been photographed. The backrest does some signs of wear to the edges, some surface scratches, one is more significant and has been photographed. There is a line on the wood where the metal frame supports on each side of the backrest. Please note that the sofa is in a good condition and has a long time of 50 years old.
