Old oak chest

Imposing and quite heavy trunk "pirate" which may have been built in the late 18th or early 19th. The cover is rounded, and the top of the furniture is located at 72cm. It is 114 cm (+ handles fixed by screws) long and wide of 58 cm (+ 3 cm for the gripper button that has probably been reported). Depth 57 cm (+ the space offered by the rounded cover) allows storage of large items like bedding. I indicate the weight according to what have argued me the Nice men who kindly help me to get it off the level where they stood, but I have not weighed. The cover is riveted. In a library with missing relatives it contained collections of journals and publications. Free for a new life!
