One of the largest floral still life aquarelles painted by the french artist juliette goury of the tuilleries born in paris in 1878 whose famous still life watercolours of flowers have been sold in numerous auctions like blanche odin. Oil on canvas signed at bottom left (dimensions: 96 X 67 cm / 40p) Regency frame in gilded wood with some gaps at the bottom right (dimensions: 129 X 100 cm) A label of the exhibition of the union (held annually from 1882 by the union of women painters and sculptors founded in 1881 which claims the admission of women to the school of fine arts, which will remain closed to them until 1897) affixed to the back of the painting of the artist's hand with his name, title of the work and a dwelling address indicating '53 rue cardinet paris' informs us that the artist lived at the time with his father henry charles constant goury of tuileries (1850-1920) architect of the hachette family.
