Henri Chaumeil plate Strasbourg decor

Plate signed "strasbourg decor / handmade / ch [henri chaumeil]". Creamy white full slip earthenware. Decorated with dark pink tulips on the border and, in the center, a man in Asian clothing smoking a long pipe in a garden. Scalloped border accented with a brown net. In very good condition: we note the normal traces of pernettes on the reverse and a "wart", a small witness to the molding process, on the edge (see detailed photos). Diam. 25 cm.
