Description
Magnificent large old toilet bowl, white earthenware, late 19th century early 20th century, unknown creil and montreau earthenware Sarreguemines Boch frères?... Transfers with blue flowering columbine motifs. Large domed body with narrow foot and large serrated neck, beautiful handle. 27cm maximum height, approximately 18cm in diameter, approximately 21cm in length with handle. Used condition, the earthenware is clean and very white, however a notable accident at the back of the neck, near the top of the handle, quite significant although not very annoying. A shock on the bottom having caused 5 star-shaped cracks, approximately 8cm, not very visible and not weakening, other shocks visible inside but not from the outside. 1 small hair on the edge of the neck also. A few small scratches, natural cracking overall quite discreet. Overall it remains very decorative and relatively clean. Around 2, 300kg.
