Description
A delightful candlestick in thuya, precious moroccan wood 🇲🇦 Flying saucer shape🛸 —- A little history💡 One of the first jobs of the thuya was for the construction of the ceilings of beautiful mansions or mosques, as can still be seen in traditional houses, and as can be found in some of the rooms of dar liouba. Then the thuya was used to make chests, boxes, furniture, which could be left in its natural state, varnished or painted. At the end of the 19th century, some branders from salé joined essaouira, bringing with them their centuries-old traditions of marquetry and inlays of motifs mostly geometric in ivory or ebony for the oldest, mother-of-pearl, sometimes silver threads and now more commonly in lemon wood. —- 📦 fast and neat shipping.
