Superb antique durobor silver-plated coffee pot, dubelloire or coffee filter in a cup, belgium, 1940s. This coffee filtering system was invented in 1800, (also called doubelloir or debeluar) was attributed to jean-baptiste de belloy, archbishop of paris. Consists of a main filter with lid, internal filter, glass coffee cup and silver outer cup. Durobor silver plated coffee makers drip-o-lator, antique french single cup coffee makers, french coffee drip o lator consists of 2 coffee cup, 1 milk jug, 1 sugar bowl and 1 tray. These are no longer the original durobor lenses but duralex. Everything else is original. Cups: 12 cm height, 9 cm diameter tray: 34 cm length 15 cm width how to use a coffee filter in a drip-o-lator cup. Place the filter on top of the cup. Lift the inner filter and add the ground coffee beans, insert the top water filter which fits well, add about 2 tablespoons of just boiled water to moisten. When the water has been absorbed, lift the top lid and add more just boiled water to fill your cup. Then wait until all the water has filtered through the coffee into the glass cup and it's ready.
