Danish Mid Century Modern Design Senator Armchair by Ole Wanscherk for PJ, Denmark, 1960s

Dimensions: 73 X 75 X 77 cm (width X height X depth) This beautiful lounge chair was designed by ole wanscher for the sentator series for france and son in the 1950s. This model was made out of massive teak wood and was manufactrured by poul jeppensens, denmark. The elegant shape and the organic proportions make this easy chair one of the most popular designs of the danish mid century era. The chair is manufactured out of massive teak wood and comes with new comfortable foam cushions with woolen upholstery in a sandy yellow. The teak wood frame has been refinished and shows only some minor traces of wear and tear, nothing that distracts. The cushions are new. The armchair’s overall appearance presents beautifully.
