Adjustable Beveled Round Mirror in Metal Frame for Table or Wall

This is a round beveled mirror, table or dressing table, but it can also be a beautiful wall mirror as the back support can be vertical and therefore serve as a handle. It is a very old mirror, I think it is art deco by the detail of the metal type, but also by the detail of the feet that have the shape of small acorns. The mirror still has good reflection. The beveled edge of the mirror is simple and delicate, showing the thickness of the mirror, which in certain positions is very elegant and charming. The frame and the support system are made of metal, in silver tone, with very simple and discreet lines, but that due to the years and use, lost the chromed metal tone and became brown, with oxidized metal color (see detail photos). The metal is even very worn out with spots and scratches. The back that is protected by paper also looks like it has been restored, because there is the joining of two types of paper (see detail photos). The whole mirror is old and therefore presents this wear, which for me is the patina, are the characteristics that make it unique and very interesting. The stand and the whole turning mechanism as you can see is with a lot of rust and with the chrome peeling off. The adjusting screws are also very darkened with rust at the tips (please look closely at the photos). The mirror measurements are below following the description and we can confirm that it is not a large mirror. In addition to all the features described above and shown in the photographs, please note that the support does not seem to be in the middle, or rather it seems slightly tilted when folded. In any case it is in good vintage condition. It is a mirror for an accent in a vintage decoration. As it is an adjustable mirror it can have many different applications.
