Hofner 485g flamed maple concert acoustic guitar + case - 1958

Hofner concert guitar, model 485g (large body) appeared in the catalog in 1953, made in germany. This model must date from the 50s given the sculpted head (later hofner will adapt a more "modern" - conventional head). Solid spruce top. Back and sides in very beautiful curly maple. Mahogany neck and headstock 2 parts - carved headstock rosewood bridge, brass mechanics inlaid rosette carved in wood. Hofner logo at the bottom of the body. Mahogany nut. Slightly curved gypsy-style back. Very nice warm, soft, balanced sound - a quality acoustic hofner, can be fitted with nylon or folk strings. Currently new augustine nylon strings. Nut width: 48mm body width: 365mm scale: 645mm traces of wear and small dents give it its old "rustic" look, varnish cracks on the surface, but no breakage, straight neck, easy to play, frets in good condition condition, guitar in good general condition considering its age.
