Round dish in artisanal ceramic from Safi in Morocco

Very beautiful and very large round, slightly hollow dish in enameled ceramic, decorated with typical motifs from the town of Safi in Morocco (an inscription below confirms this) in a beautiful harmony of colors: duck blue tending towards turquoise and black edging on a white background broken. It’s a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. At the back, the base has two holes that allow you to pass a link to make a wall decoration that will not leave you indifferent! I deduce that it is perhaps a dish with a decorative purpose, but which can also be used to store fruit for example, or make an eye-catching table centerpiece. It must not be very young: the enamelling is starting to crack and has some small gaps on the edge of the dish or on the underside and wear on it. It is in good general condition, no cracks but a small stain of brown paint (perhaps original) and three dots approximately 1 cm in diameter where the enamelling is damaged. It measures 40 cm in diameter, 8 cm in height, and weighs 2.4 kg.
