Beautiful Gispen desk lamp designed by Willem Hendrik Gispen in 1928

Very beautiful desk lamp produced by daalderop around 1928 and designed by willem hendrik gispen. The model of this gispen desk lamp is nicknamed, de tumbler. The heavy ball rests on a round ring so you can put it in almost any position. This one has a perfect balance. The entire lamp is nickel-plated and only the inside of the bell-shaped shade is white to reflect the light. Since it is an original of about 90 years old, it is in excellent condition with only minor signs of wear and a beautiful patina. This lamp is equipped with a new earthed fabric cord, switch and plug. A true design classic that fits in almost any interior!.
