Brass standing reading lamp, Legrand, 1950s

Very elegant floor-standing reading lamp in gilded brass, from the legrand brand, 1950s. It is articulated by two horizontal arms. This lamp has been mostly restored: the brass elements cleaned and deoxidized, there are nevertheless some traces of time (pittings); the lampshade remade in its dimensions with polyphane and cream-white silk fabric with discreet patterns, mounted on its original structure and enhanced with cream braid and gold threads. The electrical system has been partially changed (wire and socket). Ignition is done from the pressure button connected to the wire. Works perfectly, with large base screw bulb.
