This light was created by mariyo yagi in 1976 and produced by the italian publisher sirrah. This project is the result of theoretical research on the word "nawa" in japanese which can be translated as "rope" but the term also refers to the spiritual link connecting spirits between them. This light is not created alone, drawing on the experience acquired with isamu noguchi. It will be presented by tobias scarpa to dino gavina founder of studio simon, it is he who will give his name garbo to the ceiling light, in homage to the actress greta garbo, referring to her singular beauty. This light is no longer produced. The ceiling light is made up of a white metal base on which 5 screw bulbs are aligned. Fabric fringes surround the base. This atypical light fixture diffuses a soft light. In very good condition, wear consistent with age and use.
