Fruit or vegetable bottle opener

An original and fun object that will please collectors or as a decorative accessory in a kitchen, or which will make a fun gift with a message for a beer lover... “think about eating vegetables too, it doesn’t hurt ". It is therefore a bottle opener whose body is made of turned wood then painted to give it the appearance of a vegetable, a radish perhaps. The turning was done quickly, because there remains an unturned area, with rough edges (i have been practicing wood turning for 2 years so this kind of detail speaks to me; ) it probably dates from the 60s or 70s. It includes a little surface corrosion on the metal part and the paint has small gaps including a larger one on the end. It measures approximately 11 cm in length and 5 cm in diameter.
