Vintage Sixties Roses Framed Botanical Print Cards P.J. Redoute

Vintage print, floral cards in wooden gold-colored frames, rosa rosa gallica pontiana and rosa noisettiana, after an antique botanical drawing by pierre-joseph redouté (1759-1840). Pierre-joseph redouté was a belgian painter and botanist, best known for his exquisite attention to detail, he was best known for his paintings of flowers in the garden of malmaison castle and was official court artist to marie antoinette of austria. Beautifully framed cards in a white passe-partout, rectangular wooden gold-colored frames with glass. In good vintage condition, light signs of wear and age on the wooden frames, some discolouration of the prints but nothing disturbing, check the photos for more details!
