Handcrafted Japanese knife with unidentified signature, 60s/70s. One-side tanto blade (asymmetrical blade) 19.5 cm in steel. Wooden handle, brass bolster. Blade length: 19.5 cm. Total length: 33 cm. Weight: 70g. Blade thickness: 2.5/3 mm. The sakimaru yanagiba knife is perfectly suited for cutting meat as well as fish. Its long, thin blade is perfect for cutting thin slices, such as sashimi. This Japanese knife was entirely handmade.
