Mid-Century Sofa by Carl Straub for Goldfeder, 1950s.

An very rare sofa designed in the 1950s by carl straub and manufactured by the german company goldfeder. The sofa frame is made of solid cherry wood has been professionally and carefully restored by removing old coatings, staining and finishing with varnish. The seat and backrest have been reupholstered with a beige fabric made of a mixture of linen, cotton and viscose, resembling in its texture the materials originally used in the 1950s and 1960s. The upholstery sponge was also replaced. The sofa has a sleeping function and when extended, the dimensions of the lying space is 183x95 cm.
