Pair of 19th century Regency style wall lights with winged nymphs - bronze

Beautiful pair of 19th century Regency style wall lights. The wall part is decorated with shells, fruits and garlands of foliage, topped with a winged nymph with a floral hairstyle. The sconces are decorated with acanthus leaves, clusters of fruit and foliage. One of the arms of light wraps around itself. The appliques were carved by hand, including the finely crafted faces of the nymphs. Bronze construction. Original gilding faded, probably double patina because the arms of the light are darker. Note, stains under the cups (see photos). New and tested electrical system (for e14 bulb). Cardboard candles.
