Old sewing machine with rare hurtu pedals "continuous thread" late 1880 - it works! Brand used by the army of Napoleon III in the 1860s and 70s, it won numerous manufacturing patents. The top has been sanded and treated against xylophages. A piece of the board was replaced and shaped identically (poplar) because it was missing. The machine and its mechanism have been cleaned and lubricated. The machine still has several accessories stored in the swivel drawer on the tray. The rust on the metal of the foot was just brushed off with steel wool. A small sliding drawer has been made (removable). A belt has been added to drive the mechanism (to be adjusted) The storage box, the original drawer, the original wood veneer and the color on certain decorations (red or gold) are missing - presence of worm holes (old and treated) and scratches on the paint. For renovation enthusiasts and purists, it is left as much as possible in its aesthetic "juice" - to finish renovating according to your desire...or not, it will have a lot of effect in any case due to its rarity and its look .
