Description
Vintage Tranchic wall clock in brushed metal and formica, made in France by the famous watchmaker Jaz, produced between 1972 and 1976. The vintage design of the clock features a white central background, surrounded by a fantastic facade in Orange Polyrey and brushed metal finish brass. The design and shape also evoke a very modern and refined look. The clock has been tested and works perfectly. Reference model 2356-80, with electric battery movement LR 14, AX calibre, Orange Central second hand. New in the catalogue of 1972-1973, page 18. Formica type laminate body by Polyrey, curved bezel in gold metal, Center seconds. Two variants have been referenced 2356-80 yellow and 2356-50 blue. Only the model 2356-80 Orange will be maintained by its success after 1974.La Tranchic is no longer available in 1977. Its denomination comes obviously from its highlighted slices on each side. Slight signs of wear and use marks compatible with age and light mark on the upper part of the brass. Fully functional with a R14 classic battery (not included.) The back of the clock has a black button on the top right of the battery compartment to set the time.
