Louis Poulsen, suspension in enamelled role 1960

Suspension by louis poulsen, work circa 1960. Large industrial style suspension in white enamelled sheet metal. Electrically mounted, socket and new red twisted fabric thread. Period label inside: louis poulsen & co a/s 19540. In very good general condition, to report some traces and wear stains on the enamel. The scandinavian publishing house louis poulsen has mastered the art of shaping light. Many designers such as poul henningsen, arne jacobsen or verner panton have worked for its success. From the 1940s, then thanks to collaborations with these great designers of the 1950s/1960s, poulsen became a legendary brand, publisher of lights and talents, a reference on the art market.
