Rare two-tone vintage metal pendant lamp / anvia holland. Year: 60s -70s. Manufacturer: anvia almelo holland. Designer: j.j.m. Hoogervorst. Materials-colors: silver metal - black. To provide a classic ample e27. This pendant lamp was designed by the dutch designer j.j.m. Hoogervorst in the 60s. The lamp is characterized by its clear geometry. The basic shape consists of two rectangular bodies that are rotated 45 degrees. In this version, the bodies are dissolved in silver or black metal strips for color contrast. The light passes between the metal ribbons sticking out and is reflected on the others. Despite the simple shape it produces a very complex play of light and creates interesting and different geometric patterns depending on the distance from the wall or ceiling. At the same time, the tapes hide the bulb and thus prevent direct glare. It is a very graphic suspension and rare nowadays, especially in this state of conservation. It is not very large, so I advise to use it rather in a small or medium room as office, entrance, corridor etc.
