Description
Unearth an old, large solid oak wooden tray, select a portrait of alexandre dumas from 1895 and bring them together... To offer you a unique and atypical tray! The wood has been sanded and waxed. The illustration, which shows some marks from time, was laminated then protected with “bistrot” varnish from libéron (this varnish is used to protect worktops in kitchens. The illustration can therefore be cleaned with water without issue). We love the pretty patina of the wood, its cylindrical handles and its generous dimensions. As nice on a table as it is placed against a wall on a sideboard 😉 the tray is perched on 4 cylindrical wooden legs. This portrait of alexandre dumas was at the heart of the newspaper “l'illustration”, a newspaper from the end of the 19th century. Alexandre dumas is a famous french writer (1802-1870) first writing successful vaudeville and historical dramas. A prolific author, he then turned to historical novels such as the musketeers trilogy or the count of monte cristo and queen margot. Net weight: 2 kg dimensions: 72 X 31 X 7 cm useful surface: 55.5 X 23 cm.
