This beautiful board of great precision has a sheet size of 76 X 56 cm and has an engraved part of 58 X 42 cm. excellent general condition, clean and fresh exemplary, without freckles. Central engraved part in perfect condition. I did not notice anything particular but by the printing technique small marks or dots could be present. • the original plate used was developed around 1800 during the egyptian campaign of napoleon I and is part of the famous series -the description of egypt- this plate must have been drawn around 1990. • the drawing is by dutertre and the engraving by masson sct., ribaut sct... • the engraving shows about twenty pieces of egyptian antiquities.
