Description
Ceramics with abstract decoration made by hand by the artist jean-claude le maô in the 70's. French ceramist from the brittany region. The ceramic artist shaped his profession under the advice of his uncle, laurent houel, a painter and ceramist from douarnenist. After joining the beaux-arts du mans, he became an intern at hb-henriot in quimper, then learned his trade in several establishments. In 1963, he set up his studio, passage ar-men, a stone's throw from the chapel of saint-jean, in the district of tréboul-goz. Quality and meticulous work. The décor is enhanced with white enamels. Good condition. Diameter: 20 cm.
