Box or box Old Black Forest in carved wood - 40 cms

Very large carved oak box. It is old from the late nineteenth century. All sides are carved. The lid is decorated with fruit (probably pomegranates and grapes). It is in a very good state of conservation. Probably a seamstress' box because it has a floor with compartments (unless this one has been added). Height: 20.5 cms, max. Dimensions: 26 X 40 cms, weight: 3815 grs, 12622/6.
