Rocking Chair Luigi Crassevig

In the late 1960s, luigi crassevig travelled through scandinavia in search of materials and techniques that would allow him to find rationalist and elegant solutions to create new lines of furniture. Upon his return to italy he founded his publishing house and specialized in wooden furniture. This superb curved wooden rocking chair (largely inspired by thonet's old proposals) made in the early 1970s is a testament to this. The high quality plywood structure in a beautiful brown blonde color as well as the natural canage seat and backrest are in excellent condition. Of course it has some very slight traces of time that give it a beautiful vintage patina (chair almost never used). A rocking chair to enjoy on a terrace, in a living room or a bedroom.
