It's been a long time since I found this trunk that had lost all its ironwork but which already had a lot of potential! Potential confirmed in cleaning and sanding when the wood (obviously treated!) revealed its beautiful patina. We love his marks of time that tell his story and give it all its charm. A metal heart was attached to the center to hide the stigmas of an old clasp, as well as many brass or metal accessories.
