Vintage cocoon floor lamp, 1960s

Vintage cocoon lamp on metal stand from the 1960s. This large-sized cocoon lamp with a diameter of 55 cm was manufactured by goldkant leuchten. The hood was made using a special technology called 'spray-on fiberglass coating'. This technique is inspired by the silkworm and creates a particularly warm light effect. The metal stand on which the hood is mounted also dates from the 1960s. Both the shade and the stand are in beautiful condition. The wiring was also completely renewed.
