Tulip armchair bu Eero Saarinen, Knoll 50

Armchair "tulip", design by eero saarinen, editor knoll international, first edition of the 50s. This armchair is composed of a molded fiberglass shell, covered with a thick double layer of white lacquer. The foot is made of cast aluminum, covered with a layer of rilsan (sturdy plastic). The cushion is covered with its original brown velvet fabric (wear on the edge due to use). Note a friction on the back of the back of the backrest (having blown the lacquer layer), not altering the curve of the backrest, and very discreet once installed (as visible in the photos). Very correct condition for its past 60 years. This essential design, and period, will bring a real plus to your interior and will marry with several styles of decoration !!.
