English chest of drawers

Here is a small english chest of drawers from the 1960s. Its rounded curves, its brass handles, the delicate designs of its mahogany veneer make it a charming piece. Its wood was delicately sanded then protected with antique wax. Its original handles have been cleaned and polished, while retaining a patina. The original bottom, too damaged, was replaced by an mdf bottom for the cleanliness and stability of the furniture. The small brand plaque, "burton reproductions limited", was preserved and then reattached to the new background (see photographs). The compact format of this chest of drawers allows for multiple uses and locations: it can find its place in every room of the house! Nb: this item is an old item sold second-hand and restored by hand. It therefore naturally contains traces of time and its experience. This is precisely what makes it charming and gives it a unique character. In particular on this chest of drawers: - the veneer has some small gaps and scattered stains, due to the age of the piece of furniture (see photographs). - the bottom of the left front foot has a darker mark (see photographs). - slight offset of the finishing strip on the right side of the facade, visible only on the right profile (see photograph) the delivery costs of this small chest of drawers throughout france by our usual carrier amount to the sum of €45.
