Description
Ls 134 medusa glass hanging lamp by carlo nason for mazzega, 1960s. Carlo nason designed this wonderful pendant light for famous italian company mazzega in 1969. Carlo nason comes from one of the oldest families of murano glassmakers. He has always shown an attitude for innovation in his design. This model is called ls134. The lamp is composed of four interlocking hand blown murano glasses in a single mold. The central element is white while the three outer ones are made of clear "bullicante" (bubble infused) glass. The lamp holds one regular e26 socket and creates a very soothing warm diffused light. The hardware is chrome and height is easily adjustable. The maximum length is 130 cm. Wonderful organic form. When lit, it almost looks like a jellyfish and has a very soothing effect.
