Gesto Terra floor lamp by Bruno Gecchelin for Gruppo Skipper, 1974

Impressive gesto terra floor lamp designed by bruno gecchelin for gruppo skipper, italy 1974. The larged arched version is an extremely rare edition of this lamp. The chrome plated arch is supported by a deep black marble foot. The top shade which is also black, makes this lamp a very consistent, architectural piece. The halogen lamp on top is supposed to shine directly towards the ceiling and creates an indirect, reflected light. Currently without dimmer, but can be installed if requested. Marble foot has some superficial scratches. One corner of the foot has a small chip. Besides that, in good condition (see photo’s).
