1950s Dining table by Willy van der Meeren for Tubax, Belgium

An elegant dining table designed by willy van der meeren, manufactured by tubax in belgium around 1950. The table has a thin black lacquered metal base with a grey formica top. The minimalist style of the piece makes it a beautiful example of mid-century modern design. It can still function as a teacher’s desk, but would also a beautiful for any other office space or a fantastic decorative addition to the decor! It remains in fair, vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. It has discoloring to the top as shown in photos.
