Rules of the game: the player puts a 1 fr coin in the slot on the left side, then turns the crank and lowers the brass button at the top left, a colored ball (white or black) falls into the small window thus than the piece played. The cafe owner or “the referee” can thus check that the player has indeed paid and depending on the color of the ball, a black one is lost! White is won, the player is reimbursed from 0x to 10x his stake. Or each color corresponded to a winning prize offered by the cafe owner. For example, no prizes, a glass of beer, or anything else.
