2673 - art nouveau period, glassworks of la plaine st denis whose director at the age of 27 is the master glassmaker françois théodore legras (1839-1916), this pair of vases named "fontainebleau" in acid-blown glass hand-decorated in good condition. No cracks or splinters. Tube shape with enlarged base, hexagonal neckline, dark green opaque background, bronze painted decoration of clover leaves and drooping nets partly slightly erased. It is named "fontainebleau" and attributed to the director of the decoration workshop mr. Becken. Auguste heiligenstein (1891-1976), famous glass artist and ceramist testifies, in the book "legras" by michel & vitrat of 2012, on this decoration workshop called "senate" and on this vase that he made many times alongside his friend lainé. This famous glassmaker did his apprenticeship from 1904 to 1906 in the legras glassworks and crystal works and became the technical advisor between 1926 and 1931. His testimony is unique and crucial.
