Pair of glass and holophane metal pendant lights, 1970s

Made of prismatic glass and metal, these large space age style pendants inspire quality and have arrived to us in exceptional condition. Their orange and beige colors, highlighted by the iridescent glass, match perfectly, in the styles of the time. They are adjusted in height thanks to a perfectly functional raising and lowering system. The Holophane company (which invented the prismatic glass of the same name in the 1890s!) had a large production in the first half of the 20th century of industrial or decorative lamps, it produced contemporary creations in the 60s and 70s by working with renowned designers, such as m.mategot. The 2 lamps are in perfect condition, porcelain E27 sockets, bulbs provided, secure delivery in two packages. Diameter 37, height 25, total height adjustable from 60 to 100cm, weight 3kg each.
