Travel clock nineteenth century (1880) in working order, signed "e.mayer" in paris. On the white enamel dial roman numerals, in a golden mask engraved with foliage rinses. And featuring a second small roman numeral dial for alarm clocking. Golden chiseled "throat" box (wear of the gilding on the pillar); Movement numbered 1147 to ringing hours and half hours, passage and request and alarm clock in the morning; English side anchor escapement allowing demand and a key; with its leather case. With glass on dial and removable protective panel. Height: 13.3 cm (plus handle); width: 9cm; depth: 8.1cm. Estimate per expert: 2500€.
